My Birthday!

So the Balloon Cocoon was great,

but the amazingness had already

started and continued long after that.

Thursday night, at midnight, they "surprised"

me with a cake. It was an ice cream cake!

How awesome is that!?

We were all exhausted so that

we went to bed pretty quick.

The next morning I got up and

when I opened my door in came the balloons!

Nicole took a pic of the cocoon

from the outside...(see below).

So, I got up and went to class even though

I really, really didn't want to.

When I got back, Kali & Nicole

were putting up streamers in my room.

It was kinda funny to catch them in the act :)

Again, I had to go to class. yuck.

(I had to meet with my group)

When I got back there was a surprise

for me on the counter...(see below-left)

So I just knew the day couldn't get

any better. But then I walked into

my room and found deliciousness

on my laptop! There was a plate of

scrumptious bundt cake slices.

It was sooo good! Thanks Kristi!

My roommates told me to be ready

to leave the apartment at 6 o'clock.

We left and when we walked outside

they blindfolded me. Which was really scary!

Especially when you have a guy (Ryan!)

scare you to death!

Anyways, so we got in the car and were off.

To throw me off, of course we drove ALL OVER

Logan...haha, not really but it

was impossible to know where we were going.

We finally stopped after 20 minutes

and I was led out of the car.

When they took off the blindfold we

were at Texas Roadhouse!!

And Darby was standing in front!

It was AWESOME!

Since it opened a few months ago,

I have been saying that I

wanted to go for my birthday.

I was so excited!

After we all came back to the apartment.

Darby had a present for me!

She got me a shirt and yummy candy.

I love it!

Then, all 12 of us watched Step Up.

It was so much fun!!!

When we finally decided to climb into

bed, there was a loud bang outside

that sounded like someone was shooting

a gun. When we looked out

the window, there were some guys

shooting off fireworks. Granted, it was illegal

but it was a great end to a terrific birthday!

Grace and Soda both

played really well. Grace just couldn't

get their shots to go in the end.

It was really anybody's game, and

they both did a really good job.

I just wish that it could have been

Grace and Soda going. The boys

themselves are better sports

than Westside...and I feel like I have the right

to say that after watching Westside play.

The fans...well, we just won't

discuss any of their sportsmanship ;)

But the boys are off

to Boise on Wednesday!

AH!!!....

I screamed when I found this

this morning:

Imagine 100 balloons attacking you

at 7 in the morning! AH!!

So, my roommates got up at 4 this morning

to make this "balloon cocoon". They are crAzy!

I have no idea how they didn't wake me up,

cause balloons, garbage bags, and tape

are not quiet things to work with.

I was so tired from that AWESOME game last

night that I must have been

completely out! (blog about that coming soon)

They made last night wonderful too!

At midnight, they brought out an

ice cream cake with

sparkler candles! and sang

Happy Birthday, of course.

Luckily we didn't set the fire alarm off!

We all ate a piece early this morning before

we went to bed. It's SO good!!

but i'll tell you that i have

the BEST roommates ever!

Fire Breathing!

A few weeks ago, we had the most insane,

yet super fun FHE night yet!

We had a lesson from Sierra, and then after...

had a little fun with FIRE!

A flame and powdered sugar=sweetness!

...just make sure you don't inhale

Shelby's Basketball Games

Shelby played two games on Saturday.

One against Grace and the other against Star Valley.

Seth ran the scoreboard for one of the games.

Colten and John gave him some company.

Then, after all the games were done,

Mike gave some more lessons.

Shelby did really good and they won both games!

The Best Day Ever (the real one)

So Saturday was by far the best day ever!

Let me apologize right now for SO MANY pictures

but it was just so great!

First, Nicole and I went with the girl's next door to see Dear John.

Some liked it, others hated it...

depends on if you are in a relationship or not....blah, blah blah ;)

I liked it, but it wasn't my favorite movie.

After, we cleaned the sink at Angie's. Yummo!

I kept getting phone calls from my family.

Shelby called to tell me the score of her game.

Then, Seth called a couple of times.

I wondered if they were going to surprise me, but then Seth said

they were playing cards at Grandma Petersen's house.

I kept wondering, and when we turned on the road to my apartment...

there was my family in the car!!! I was so excited!

We decided to go ice skating. They were only able to stay for a little while.

Even though it was slushy and not great ice skating weather,

it totally made my day!

I can't wait to go home this coming weekend!!

Best Day Ever (or so I thought)

So there was this box in the mail. We all knew it was for Julia since it was her birthday. But...it was for everyone!!! SETH mailed this box of goodies (he wanted me to know that) but MOM was the one who put it all together. She put in a "kiss" clip, nail-file, and a box of hearts for each of us all on top of chocolate!! The note says: Happy Valentine's Day, Love the Stoor Family. My family is the best!!

Julia's Surprise

So, today is Julia's birthday! But, we surprised her last night.

She had no idea! With the help of the girls next door,

we decorated her room with streamers, balloons and candy.
