My Awesome Cheerleading Sister

I'm not kidding when I say that I have been to more high school girls basketball games this year than I went to my entire high school career.  I went to only a couple, and I've gone to at least four this year.  Thank goodness every time I've gone, I've had this cute chica to watch instead:

Meg cheers at the guy's games too...and wrestling matches...and...yeah, you name it and she's prolly been cheering for it.  Look how high she can jump!...actually, she gets higher, but I stink at capturing the right moment, so just imagine her right leg is about six inches higher haha.

Do you know how hard it is to try and get a good picture of cheerleaders when they are cheering? haha, I'd have to say that she is the cutest cheerleader out there....I prove it with the next photo

Sometimes you can catch good ones...but only if you're lucky :)

Meg got to cheer with varsity for one of the nights when I was home for Christmas break.  Here she is helping present the flag...look how high that kick is!

I caught this photo of Shelb and thought it was super cute.

We got to see our cousin Sierra dance too! (She's in the middle)

Getting a good picture of a drill team dancer is even HARDER cause they move clear across the floor!

I thought this was a pretty neat move:

Then here are some videos too:

They've got their competition in a few weeks.  I'll be there!...and attempt to get some sort of a photo, but no promises haha.  Megan does a super great job, and could not be more busy this month.  She's got practice or a game practically every night of the week this month, and prolly next.   But she's an amazing cheerleader and if you haven't already, you should come and watch her! :)
Keep it up girl!...but GET SOME SLEEP!!! haha, love ya Meg.

New Years Eve Trip

Finally every one is cured!...(knock on wood)
Dad was able to somehow avoid this flu bug that all of us girls
have had.  Shelby and Mom felt better Saturday morning, so
after Dad and I fed, we took off on a trip to Jackson Hole.
We took a little detour to try and see a mountain goat or sheep.

Meg trying to see a goat

Mom using Dad's new scope and Meg from inside the car.

Dad looking too

If you can see any goats in the pictures, just let us know,
cause unfortunately we didn't see a single animal.
We saw a couple crows, and that was it.

So we headed to Jackson and the first stop was the
Yippy I-O Candy Co. Yum.

Shelby with some big jaw breakers.

Megan with those yummy mints

We should have been brave, but we weren't when it came
to the Clove flavored candy.

Yes Mom, clove flavored....this is the face I caught, haha

Then Shelby found a HUGE jawbreaker.
Bring back memories Katie?
(We sucked on some all the way to northern Idaho for
a family reunion, and our tongues were completely raw
by the time we got there. Grandma had a good laugh.)
...made my tongue and jaw sore to just see them.

Megan and Shelby found this clock statue and didn't
know if they were supposed to touch it or not.
So Shelby then told Megan that they could touch it,
and if anybody came up telling them otherwise,
Meg should tell the person that she was autistic and
didn't know any better, haha.

In front of the Jackson Arch

Then we walked through some shops.

"When I count my blessings, I count you twice"...awww ;)

Then Dad bought a new rug to put on the porch.
We think it's pretty funny...so if you come to visit,
don't take the saying seriously, cause we like visitors! :)
