No Longer a Teenager

Weird.


But just because I'm no
longer a teenager doesn't
mean I still can't act like one right?
I still love and find joy in many childish things.

20, golly that # seems big.

I love lots of little funny things:

the little bubbles that you can 'poof' out of the joy soap bottle

brushing my hair

climbing a tree

cuddling up in my blanket to watch a movie

getting mail. seriously.

it's like opening a present!

building a snowman...which reminds me...

At the end of the game: 

McMurray makes the first foul shot

down by one

timeout...jersey in mouth = nervous!

sinks the freethrow and...

...Overtime! 

Later, we are down by 2.

James puts them both in and...

...DOUBLE OVERTIME!!!

This game was absolutely NUTS!

Seth and James made some key free throws

and then West Side couldn't quite

come back. Soda wins!!!

"I am in hell"...this was the text that 

Seth sent me last Saturday morning. LOL!

He was at Megan's District Cheerleading Competition.
I'm sure it wasn't that bad Seth.
Mom took some pictures, but here are ones from
the Idaho Classic. (I don't have any)

I was unable to go because I

had a church meeting and I'm SOOOO

far behind on my homework

...which reminds me, i gotta get back on it!

so i can go to the basketball game tomorrow night :)

WEST SIDE = DEFEATED!!!!!  Soda BEAT West Side!!!!

AH!!!! It was the greatest game ever!  

This was the game we have been waiting for all season.

Heck, we've been waiting for this game FOREVER!

West Side has always been a tough team and

we have never been able to beat them unless

it was during summer ball.  

It was a tough fight last night, but

they finally did it!!! and on senior night!

What a sweet victory!!!

I just can't come to terms with the

fact that he is a senior! It kinda hit

me last night. What on earth are we going

to do next year? For the last 10 years,

through the months of Dec-Mar we have

chased Seth from game to game.

And then of course, all the summer ball too!

We won't know what to do! haha 

I was so excited to get to the game

that I forgot my camera!

James Frankos had 28 points and Soda Springs

avenged its earlier loss to West Side and clinched

a share of first place in its regular-season finale at home.

"He took control of the game and got his teammates

invovled," Soda Springs Coach Greg Bergholm

said.  "He had an all-around good game."

Seth Stoor added 13 points for the Cardinals (15-3, 5-1 2A fifth district).

Dallas Turnbow had 15 points to lead the Pirates (13-4, 4-1), who

fell behind the third quarter and could not catch up.

"It's a battle every time we play them," Bergholm said. "We were

fortunate that we came out on top. The kids

did what we asked them to do and played well."

West Side will host Malad at 7:30 p.m. on Friday

to try to tie Soda Springs for the regular-season title.

The Cardinals are idle until their district tournament

opener on Tuesday at home.  If Malad upsets

West Side, Soda Springs will be the top seed.

Oh yes, be EXCITED!!!

Focus today?...never gonna happen.

Being able to focus at all tomorrow...

pah, I might as well come home now!

All I can think about is THE game tomorrow!

I absolutely can't wait!

It is going to be the greatest thing ever!

So, since I can't concentrate on my

homework, I've been messing

around with some videos:

Aberdeen came to Soda

Final Score:

It was a lot closer the first two quarters.

We were only up 5 points at half.

But then the boys came out and did well!

Aberdeen was shooting a lot, but they

just couldn't get them to go in.

Seth had two 3 pointers, and a TON of assists.

We were all there to cheer him on,

and then he has another little fan club:

teehee, it is so cute!

Speaking of cute, I got to sit by

my little 3-yr-old cousin Shad.

He giggled and then pointed at the camera

and said "You're shoes are in the camera".

I took a picture and then showed it to him,

to which he responded

"Oh, I love that"

haha! It was the cutest thing ever!

Soda vs Westside!

In all 10 yrs of basketball,

this is the game of all games!

We (Seth) have never beaten West Side in

regulation play, only summer ball.

But Wednesday is SODA'S night!

So BE THERE! it's gonna be good

Don't get me wrong.  It has been beautiful outside

but I want it to be warm!

I can only handle this extremely cold

weather for so long!

If we can put a wood stove into my

apartment, then I won't complain...but I don't

think that is gonna happen anytime soon.

At least the sun is finally shining today! :)
