Feeding aka my christmas break

Hunter has come out to spend a few days.
So he became the photographer.
He took lots, and lots of pictures
of the cows, dogs, and team :)
I wanted to take pictures on Christmas,
but both my battery and Mom's were dead.
But here's some from today, thanks Hunter boy!

Tom and Toby

watchful sissy, she is very protective of grandpa.

Here's old 'Stub'.
Looks like he wants to escape.

Guess he did! (see the left in the back)
haha oh well, we'll get him later.

the creek is flooding out towards
the haystack. can't wait to get
it all out of there so we don't
have to worry 'bout going through it anymore.

cleanin the barn

almost done

storming just enough that you couldn't
quite see the sun.

unhookin the team

and it never fails that tom makes sure
you are paying attention to him.
even if that means getting you get all gross
with his foamy mouth!

American Falls at Soda

So in Marsh Valley somebody
put a lid on the bucket.
Nobody could get shots to go.
Thank goodness their defense kept them in the game.
But in the end we lost by just ONE point!
It was a heart breaker, but we've moved on!
I'm actually kinda glad we lost, cause now
they don't need to worry about a perfect
record or anything like that.
American Falls came to Soda last Saturday,
and the results...guess from this picture...

2 Foul Shots+ 3 three's+ 2 layup's = 15 points!

Final Score:
Woot! Seth actually didn't even play
in the fourth quarter.
And those 3 pointers - all right in a row! :)

Now a video of Megan!

Isn't she cute? :)

Hunter - Seth's Biggest Fan!

Game tonight in Grace!

Soda at Bear Lake

Wow! What a game!
We were up 17 points at one time,
and then Bear Lake tied it up in the end!
It was close in the last couple minutes,
but Soda ended up on top 69 to 65!

Seth was open FOREVER! it felt like.
Even though he didn't take the shot,
it was a good assist.
He got a lot of good passes
to Kaden tonight.
But 9 points for Seth tonight!
Then, he even played the entire 4th
quarter with four fouls!
Great job tonight boys!
Off to Marsh Valley tomorrow night!

Where's the Line to See Jesus?

Ok, so the video is really cheesy, but I like the song and it's message:

"Sub for Santa"

As a Relief Society, we raised money
to "sub-for-santa"!
On Tuesday we went shopping
and bought their wants and needs.
Today I get the opportunity to help
deliver the presents to these kids.
I'm SO excited to help put a smile
on these kids faces!

Remembering Pearl Harbor

December 7: "A date that will live in infamy.."
"Never in the field of human conflict was so much owed by so many to so few". Winston Churchill
Pearl Harbor Memorial
It's been sixty-nine years since this tragedy.
Some day, I will visit this place and honor those who fell.
May God bless all those who served and their families.

Soda vs Sugar Salem

Soooo, Seth got to play Brandon Saturday night!
Both played awesome games.

But before that, we gotta share this cutie:

I CAN'T believe she's in high school!
Megan an SSHS cheerleader!

Best cheerleader out there!
Hopefully I can get some better pics of her
when I go home for Christmas.

Captain duties...with Brandon warming up
already with a bloody nose! haha

Going for 2!

We went into OT tied 56 points each!
Seth: 3 fouls and 10 pts (I think)

Seth was fouled quickly:
2 for 2 from the line

He hit a three in OT too, but I was too excited
to be taking pictures! at that point
so that added 7 more points!
Another layup

INTENSE game!
He fouled out with 36 seconds to go.
But Soda won it 68 to 64!
Check out the Idaho State Journal article for Sunday!
It read "With Seth Stoor leading the way with 17 points"
Wahoo!!!
They play against each other again this weekend,
at Sugar. Should be a terrific game!
Check out Mom's blog too! http://jjstoor.blogspot.com/

(Last) First Home Game

Seth's senior year has arrived!
LET THE GAMES BEGIN!!!
Soda vs South Freemont
Rubbing hands and bouncing knees = nervous!

The coach's wife passed away just a month ago.
The team has dedicated this season to her.
And before they played, they all placed
a rose on her seat.

New Warm Up:
(people got in the way a bit)

 You can kinda see the patches
on their shoulders that
have an A & B on them
with a ribbon in the middle
for Angie Bergholm.

 First points - and a 3 to boot!

First foul of the season too haha:

Sooo, Seth went to the floor,
some people ran him over,
he looked up,
and then another guy fell on him
which cause his chin to split open.
coaches tell him to keep pressure on it...
don't know if the yelling helped
but, he did haha:

Come Relax at the games with
Mr. Anderson! HAHA!

 Another 3!

 Final:
Seth: 3 points and 3 fouls
During the game, Seth eventually got blood on the jersey,
so he ran back and changed into #33.
He managed to foul not too long after that,
(wasn't a foul but oh well).
This should have been his third, but we
all laughed when the board read
1 foul cause he'd changed jerseys!
But the boys all played really well
(if they could have made their free throws!)
Both teams would have been up to
a hundred points if they'd have made em.
I can't wait to see what the rest of this season brings!

100th Post! and a present from Libby

Wowza! I can't believe that this is my 100th post.
This calls for celebration!...why you ask? i don't know either. haha
But who doesn't just want to celebrate right!?

Nicole came back from Thanksgiving Break,
and Libby had sent marshmallows and toothpicks
for me "to make whatever I want"
"L S" for Libby Sedlacek :)

How cute is that!?
Libby and Mia came up for a weekend
and we had a "girls' night" last year.
Then, the next night I went home with Nicole.
Her family is so stinkin cute!
I hope the girls come up again and we have
some fun, then I want to do the same with
my sisters!
But Thank You for the gift Libby!
You are the sweetest!

~~~~~~~~
Side note:
I absolutely can't wait til I get to see
my own siblings TONIGHT!!!!
SSHS Boys Basketball first home game of the season!
Megan will be cheerleading too!
BE THERE!!!
Day Thirty: What Matters Most
I'm grateful for my relationship with my
Heavenly Father and Savior, Jesus Christ.
Without Them, none of these things or people
that I am thankful for, would exist.
Ok, so I know I said that these posts were in no
particular order, but I have to say that I saved the best posts for last.
The posts about my family members could have gone on FOREVER!
This post is no different.
So as to not go on forever, here are a couple of songs:
(You'll have to pause the music at the bottom)
My Heavenly Father Loves Me
(Mormon Tabernacle Choir, reason for this video)
Jesus Christ - His Hands
I find that music is one of the
greatest teachers that we have.
I love these two songs.
They truly reflect how I feel.
I love my Heavenly Father, and I'm so thankful
for all that He provides for me.
I know that He continually blesses me.
I love my Savior, Jesus Christ.
He suffered in Gethsemane and died for
me on the cross, and I am forever indebted to Him.
I know that when I suffer or have trials,
He understands and He will always understand.
I know that They live and They are always there for me.
I'm so glad that I took on this challenge.
It truly helped me to look at what matters most,
and let me count my many, many blessings.
It was difficult to narrow it down to just 30 things.
Throughout this month, there have been many
instances where I would realize how thankful I
 am for simple and silly things like:
paper towels, scissors, a car, light, color...
and this list would prolly never end!
But I'm grateful for all these things and so much more!
I hope you were able to reflect on some
of the things you are grateful for as well.
Thus concludes November! December = tomorrow.
Woah! Where did this year go!?
P.S...in coming attractions:
my 100th post!
oh yes...be very excited.
Day Twenty-Nine: My Dad
I'm grateful for my
Dad
How cute it this!?
Can I just say it is just about impossible
to get a picture of him?
It's worse than finding a good one of Seth! haha
Not only is he the hardest worker I know,
he truly is the hardest worker there ever was or will be!
Sometimes he stays up all day and then works
that night....not an easy thing to do!
In the winter he works all night,
then comes home to feed cows, or he will
harness the team before he leaves to work that day.
There's one word that does NOT and NEVER will
describe my dad and it is lazy
Prolly one of the hardest "switches" I have
to make when my summer ends is when I stop riding
to work with Dad.  For four months we drive
back and forth together from work.
It's kinda hard to just stop.
He is selfless, in that he does everything
for his family. Though, I still think he
would be a hard worker if he didn't
have a family.  I hope my spouse is like him,
in that he is a hard worker, and loves his family.
Love ya Dad.
Day Twenty-Eight: My Mom
I'm grateful for my
Mom
Mom...Best Friend...Same Thing.
She always knows what to say.
She can tell when something is wrong.
You really can't hide much from her.
I tell her EVERYTHING.
I don't think I have a secret from her.
If I do, you know I'll tell her eventually.
She shares silly moments with me.
(sometimes I catch them on camera)
She's the BEST!
My hero.
(from the scary santa claus! ;)
A hard worker.
Completely selfless.
Does everything for us kids.
She brought me into this world,
and (as she says) "can take [me] out if necessary!" ;)
I can't wait to become a mom myself,
because I've got the greatest example!
I love you Mom!
