Life Lately....Ha, that's what I named it last July

So I have every intention of blogging when I go on trips and take pictures, but I have seriously been having trouble getting past uploading pictures because it takes F.O.R.E.V.E.R!  Anyways, here a ton of photos that I uploaded over six months ago haha.

Shelby and I were the only ones home (Mom & Dad went to Seattle and Meg was on a fire), so we decided to go for a little trip too!  We drove up to Jackson and went down on the Alpine Slide.  It was a kick!

On the rickety chair lift....I wouldn't have been surprised if the cables snapped haha

While in Jackson, Shelby found this license plate and of course we had to take a photo haha.

Pretty sunset that night as we went home
Kinda random, but we had a bazillion hummingbirds this year!
We couldn't keep the feeders full.  I counted seventeen, but couldn't
get them all in to the photo.

This past summer I drove truck again.  But this year I had a shorter
commute for part of the time.  Called the Pedro Creek Project, I drove
truck up above Conda on Woodall.  They also trained me on the water truck
whichwas fun for a change. There may have been was definitely
no horseplay involved. ;)

There were some INCREDIBLE sunrises.  I loved working the
night shifts because they would end with these beautiful views.  I wish
that I had a camera that could have captured them.

There were some pretty cool cloud formations too.
We almost wondered if this could have been smoke from the
Colorado fires, but decided it looked too clean to be that.

It was definitely a short haul, averaging 40+ loads a shift.
See where the equipment is parked up above?
We would load near where that dozer is pushing below, and
hauled to the left of it not terribly far (most of the time, sometimes
it was even shorter).

After we had hauled enough, the dozers just pushed the rest.
I'm really curious to know what it looks like now.

Then of course, every free minute this past fall was spent picking berries.

We would occasionally run into some pretty fantastic people :)

Some pretty cute ones too.  (I love how many berries make it home
with Sols, haha)

Berry hands!
